April 20 BCBS of Tennessee Martin Golf Tourney Seeks Players
(MURFREESBORO, TN) – Players are being sought to participate in the 26th annual BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Tommy T. Martin Chair of Insurance Golf Tournament. It will be held Tuesday, April 20, at Champions Run Golf Course, 14262 Mount Pleasant Rd., in Rockvale. Activities that day include lunch and registration from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m., shotgun start at noon, meal and awards presentation at 4:30 p.m. and silent auction from 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The tournament will be best ball scramble format. Low team scores wins. There will be prizes for each player and awards for longest drive (from regular tees) and closest to pin on all par-3s. Various levels of sponsorships – from $150 hole sponsorship to $2,000 elite sponsorship – are available. Proceeds benefit the Martin Chair of Insurance scholarships for students.
