Dr. David Schmidt Discusses Global Approach as Guest on ‘MTSU on the Record’

MURFREESBORO—Dr. David Schmidt, vice provost for international affairs, will be the guest on this week’s edition of “MTSU on the Record” with host Gina Logue at 8 a.m. this Sunday, Aug. 7, on WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).

Schmidt, who officially began his job April 1, is responsible for internationalizing the campus. This includes coordinating study-abroad programs, developing partnerships with institutions of higher education in other countries and creating a welcoming climate for students from other nations who attend MTSU.
