[59] MTSU closed Sept. 3 for Labor Day

 MURFREESBORO—MTSU will be closed Monday, Sept. 3, for the designated Labor Day holiday for students, staff and faculty. All business offices will be closed and no classes will be held.

 

University business offices will resume their regular hours of operation, which are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 4. All classes will resume as scheduled on Sept. 4.

All Saturday, Sept. 1, classes are scheduled to meet.

 

The Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center will be closed Sept. 3. The Rec Center will be open limited hours on Saturday (noon until 5 p.m.) and Sunday (2 until 5 p.m.), and will reopen Tuesday at 6 a.m.

 

The James E. Walker Library will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., but closed Sunday and Monday. It will reopen at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

 

The new Student Union Building will be open its regular hours — Friday from 6 a.m. until midnight; Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday; and Sunday from noon until midnight — but have reduced Monday hours that will be from 10 a.m. until midnight.

 

The computer lab in the Student Union will be open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, noon until 7 p.m. Saturday, noon until 11 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday.
