[167] Final fall international film at MTSU ponders life 'In a Better World'

MURFREESBORO—A story of two boys and a dangerous act of revenge is the final movie in the fall 2012 International Film Series at MTSU.

“In a Better World” will be shown at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the Student Union Building Theater. The movie is free and open to the public.

The Danish film tells the story of Elias, the son of couple on the verge of divorce, and Christian, a new boy from London who befriends Elias and protects him from bullies.

Produced in 2010, “In a Better World” is an ethically ambitious, morally thoughtful and deeply vexing drama about the fragility of civil order and the menace of the lawless.
