MTSU library closure, power outage necessitate changes in research plans

MURFREESBORO – The James E. Walker Library at Middle Tennessee State University will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 6 for the winter break and to accommodate a scheduled power outage on campus.

Online library resources will be available Dec. 22-Jan.1. However, the power outage will render the library website and all databases, e-journals and e-books unavailable Jan. 2-3 and possibly Jan. 4.

Researchers are advised to consider searching Google Scholar or the Tennessee Electronic Library on those days.

If full texts are inaccessible from those sources, researchers are advised to copy down the citations and seek access through the library when the facility comes back online.

Walker Library will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 7.
