MURFREESBORO — A new MTSU student organization is focused on stimulating conversation about how to lower the national debt.

The next edition of the “MTSU On the Record” radio program will feature host Gina Logue’s interview with Ryan Ward, president of MTSU Kicks Back, from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 22, and from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Sunday, April 28, on WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).

MTSU Kicks Back is a chapter of The Can Kicks Back, a national organization that describes itself as “a nonpartisan, Millennial-driven campaign to fix the national debt and reclaim our American Dream,” according to www.thecankicksback.org.

Ward, a 20-year-old sophomore economics major from Murfreesboro, is also a licensed realtor with Red Realty in Smyrna, Tenn.
