MURFREESBORO — MTSU’s Department of Human Sciences, in partnership
with Oaklands Historic House Museum, will welcome ArchitectureWorks partner
Cindy Coyle Tuesday, Oct. 8, for a free public lecture on “Rehabilitation and
Restoration.”
The
Student Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers/International
Interior Design Association will host Coyle at a 5 p.m. reception, followed by
a 6:30 p.m. lecture in Maney Hall at Oaklands Historic House Museum.
Oaklands
Historic House Museum, located at 900 N. Maney Ave. in Murfreesboro, is a
nationally registered historic landmark.
Coyle will
provide examples and case studies of her work and use several of her
Birmingham, Ala.-based firm's projects as samples, including the 16th Street
Baptist Church and the ArchitectureWorks office building.
Coyle
received her Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University in 1993. She is a
member of the American Institute of Architects and is certified by the Green
Building Certification Institute as a LEED AP, or Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design Accredited Professional.
