[301] MTSU will offer tours for prospective transfer students

MURFREESBORO — Prospective transfer students wanting to check out all that MTSU has to offer are being offered special tours three times in the coming months.

The Office of Admissions-led tours, being held the second Friday of the month, will be offered starting at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 13, March 13 and April 10. Tours will begin in the Student Services and Admissions Center on the east side of campus.

To find visitor parking adjacent to the center and all campus buildings, visit http://tinyurl.com/MTSUParking14-15 for a printable map.

An admissions presentation and campus tour led by a Blue Elite member are designed to specifically focus on the needs of transfer students. Topics to be discussed include admission standards and processes, transfer credits and scholarships. Attendees will hear a current student’s perspective about MTSU.

For students who have not applied, there will be an opportunity to complete an application while on campus.

Students considering transferring to MTSU from four-year universities and two-year community colleges are welcome to attend the transfer tours or other special events.

Tennessee Board of Regents community colleges include Chattanooga State, Cleveland State, Columbia State, Dyersburg State, Jackson State, Motlow College, Nashville State, Northeast State, Pellissippi State, Roane State, Southwest Tennessee, Volunteer State and Walters State.
