MURFREESBORO — As
part of MTSU Homecoming Week activities, the Concrete Industry Management
Alumni Skeet Shoot will be held starting at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Big
Springs Clay Targets, 8890 Big Springs Road in Christiana, Tennessee.
Registration and lunch start the event at 1 p.m., with the
tournament beginning at 1:30. Winners will be announced at 6.
For alumni, concrete industry partners and friends of the
university, a team of five competitors can participate for $450 and
individuals’ fee is $90. Participants should bring 12- or 20-gauge shotguns.
The entry fee includes ammunition for 100 targets, 100
targets, earplugs, nail apron for ammunition, safety glasses and lunch.
Awards include $350 for first place, $250 for second and
$150 for third. Field and food and beverage sponsorships are available.
