MTSU
celebrates the 2015 winner of its School of Nursing Uniform Scholarship Award,
Myeshia Watts, center, a junior nursing major from Memphis, Tennessee. Watts
won a free blue top and a white lab coat, both emblazoned with the MT logo. Her
essay, “An Insight of Nursing,” was chosen as the best from all entries
submitted. With Watts at the Nov. 16 presentation ceremony in Cason-Kennedy

In addition to a traditional four-year baccalaureate nursing program, the MTSU School of Nursing offers currently licensed registered nurses with a diploma or associate degree in nursing a program to obtain bachelor’s degree in nursing. A master’s degree in nursing is available through a consortium program with three tracks: nursing education, nursing administration and family practice nursing.
