[225] Memphis junior wins MTSU School of Nursing scholarship contest



MTSU celebrates the 2015 winner of its School of Nursing Uniform Scholarship Award, Myeshia Watts, center, a junior nursing major from Memphis, Tennessee. Watts won a free blue top and a white lab coat, both emblazoned with the MT logo. Her essay, “An Insight of Nursing,” was chosen as the best from all entries submitted. In addition to a traditional four-year baccalaureate nursing program, the MTSU School of Nursing offers currently licensed registered nurses with a diploma or associate degree in nursing a program to obtain bachelor’s degree in nursing. A master’s degree in nursing is available through a consortium program with three tracks: nursing education, nursing administration and family practice nursing.
