[462] MTSU lets the dogs out for annual See Spot Run 5K Run/Walk May 1


MURFREESBORO — Canines and their humans are welcome to participate in the annual See Spot Run 5K Run/Walk at 8 a.m. Sunday, May 1, at MTSU’s Peck Hall.

Proceeds from the event will support the MTSU Blitz Build and Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity. The event is sponsored by the Office of Student Organizations & Service and Sigma Pi fraternity. A printable campus parking map is available at http://tinyurl.com/MTSUParkingMap.

Racers may register at www.active.com or by mailing in the registration form available online with payment. The entry fee is $30 before April 25 and $35 thereafter. All participants will receive a dry-fit style shirt.

Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more at a rate of $25 per person for racers who register by 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 25, in Room 330 of the Student Union. 

Each racer who brings a dog also must bring the dog’s rabies tag number. Retractable leashes are prohibited.
