MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees announces the following committee meetings:

• Executive and Governance Committee: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, President’s Conference Room, Cope Administration Building, MTSU campus in Murfreesboro. Agenda items include approval of minutes and recommendations for approval of institutional mission, president’s compensation and contract, and Board of Trustees policy.

• Academic Affairs, Student Life and Athletics Committee: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, President’s Conference Room, Cope Administration Building, MTSU campus in Murfreesboro. Agenda items include approval of minutes; recommendations for approval of a proposed rule and related university policy, the award of expedited tenure and, new academic programs; and, information regarding academic actions, the sale of alcohol at athletic venues and the Research Foundation.

• Finance and Personnel Committee: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, President’s Conference Room, Cope Administration Building, MTSU campus in Murfreesboro. Agenda items include approval of minutes, recommendation for approval of a proposed rule and related university policy; and, discussion and information regarding the budget, the Regional Scholars Program and capital outlay.
